Dana Parker-Gilbert’s story did not begin with being a designer.
Dana spent 30 years working in the corporate world. However, her true passion – design – had long been a side business. She dreamed of days spent helping clients decorate for holidays, preparing nurseries for tiny newborns, or creating spaces that captured the spirit of people living in them. She prayed for the perfect pairing where she could use her gifts full time, not just part-time!
It finally happened! God brought the opportunity. Dana was working with Joyce Holt, previous owner of Window Works, on Shutters for a Historic Home. Joyce mentioned that she was looking for the right person to take over the 50-year-old business she had built. Dana knew this was her chance not only to carry on the legacy of providing high-quality window treatments, but to expand the business to a full-service design center capable of handling design needs for the entire home.
Today, Simply Charming Interiors & Window Works have become one. They are now Simply Charming Window Works & Design. Dana and her team are thrilled to provide you with the expertise, excellence, the comfort and beauty you want for your home!
